Superyacht The Columbus 40S Hybrid

Columbus Yachts unveiled their innovative Sport Hybrid model during last year’s Monaco Yacht Show. Deisgned by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro Tec Naval Architecture and featuring interiors by Hot Lab, Columbus 40S Hybrid is as visually appealing as it is technically advanced.

The 40-meter boat, with a silver hull and white superstructure, smooth curves and axe bow, looks really impressive from the outside. Powered by an advanced hybrid engine, it can nonetheless reach a more than decent top speed of 23 knots and features a complex system that ensures it gets the best performance with as little environmental impact as possible.
The same feeling of elegance carries over into the ship’s interior. An abundance of light adds greatly to the warm atmosphere, while the modern design and luxurious amenities also contribute the yacht’s elegant feel.
The vessel offers excellent accommodations for both the owner and his or her guests. Whether it’s the full-beam master suite with its understated sense of luxury, or the stylish and spacious guest suites, all on board will find themselves surrounded by luxury hotel-grade amenities. And for the beautiful, sunny days when all you want to do is get a tan and enjoy  those amazing views of the sea, the yacht has ample outdoor spaces with big sun loungers, seating, a fully equipped bar and even a large Jacuzzi.
The Columbus 40S Hybrid is currently on the market and it’s only a matter of time until it will get picked up by some luxuriously-minded yacht enthusiast.
