Kempinski to open its first luxury hotel in Cuba 2017

The newly opened borders of the tropical island of Cuba has seen many travelers and hospitality companies making a rush to this Carribean island.
Joining the rat race is Switzerland-based luxury hotel group Kempinski. The hotel is slated to open in June this year and would mark Kempinski’s first hotel in Cuba.

The Gran Hotel Mazana Kempinski La Habana will feature 246 rooms and suites ranging in size from about 430 to 1,615 square feet. The rooms will be decorated in contemporary white color with vaulted ceilings and large French windows, and tastefully done up in inherent Cuban style. There’s also a rooftop pool with stunning views over the old town and a spa managed by Resense along with a choice of three restaurants, a lobby bar, cigar lounge, and a business center.

The hotel will be located within the historic Manzana de Gómez building in the heart of Old Havana – a UNESCO World Heritage site. We are sure that this new luxury hotel is destined to become the most happening place in Cuba’s capital.
