If you are looking for a unique and unforgettable experience, we warmly recommend The Hidden Beach in theMarieta Islands, Mexico. It is an amazing place which is enthusiastically visited by tourists, but which is not altered by human hand, because it is very strictly protected by law.
The Marieta Islands near Puerto Vallarta have been declared a national park, and consequently it is completely illegal for people to undergo activities such as hunting, fishing, and almost anything else in this place. Actually, the only two activities that are permitted in the area are kayaking and snorkeling, so the islands are safe from harm and degradation.
In this magnificent paradise, where the weather doesn’t really change throughout the year, one of the islands holds a fascinating ‘hidden beach’ that can only be accessed through a cave. There is enough space between the rocky ceiling of the cave and the crystal clear water for visitors to swim freely without having to hold their breath or use scuba diving gear.
The feeling that you get when you reach this haven of tranquility and natural beauty is just wonderful. It is believed that ‘holes’ like this were formed during the early 1900s, when intensive military testing activities were conducted on these uninhabited islands. We are very happy that the damage was reduced to only a few caves, and that now people can enjoy the site without affecting it any further.

  1. The hidden beach comes under a park which was named as a national park, Parque Nacional Islas Marietas, in 2005. The park spans almost 1,400 hectares. On one of the islands is Playa de Amor, more usually known as Hidden Beach....More Photos: http://www.worldfortravel.com/2013/08/17/playa-de-amor-hidden-beach-mexico/
