Arisugawa park
How do you imagine a 16.535.000 Euro ($21.8 million) house looks like? A
three-story mansion with a swimming pool, a spacious garage and five bedrooms?
While we’re sure you will be able to find such a residence at this price, what
we will show to you today is nothing like that. It is a one-bedroom apartment
in Tokyo, located in the city’s most expensive neighborhood, called
Minami-Azabu.
So what makes this dwelling so incredibly expensive? First
of all, even though the apartment has only one bedroom, all of its other rooms
are incredibly spacious and lavish. Offering 412 Sqm (4,434 square feet) of space, the
apartment has one full bathroom, two half baths, a Japanese Ryotei-style dining
groom, and a gourmet kitchen with top-notch appliances by La Cornue.
The list of amenities continues with imported Italian wood
and stone for the walls and floors, custom furniture by Cecotti Collezioni,
huge walk-in closet and storage space for 200 pairs of shoes, Parisian-style
terrace with superb views over Arisugawa park, a lovely fully enclosed
courtyard, and original artwork by artist Hiroshi Senju, painted on site! All
this sounds really great, but the dwelling still remains a one-bedroom
apartment.
