This
year Koenigsegg celebrates having built 100 awesome cars over the last decade.
For this very special occasion, the fabled Swedish supercar maker has
introduced a stunning on-off ride called the Agera S Hundra. The last part of
its name means “one hundred” in Swedish, and it is meant to further emphasize
the importance of the milestone.
What is
truly unique about the car is its lavish exterior finish: gel-coated carbon
fiber with gold leaf details. Oh, yes, Koenigsegg is not afraid to get a little
opulent when it comes to such special events, and we can’t say we blame them. The
gold trims are present on the body, the huge exhaust pipe, coil springs, rear
deck struts, and the wheels.
All this
extra glamour costs a whopping 1.222.000Euro ($1.6 million), but no price is too high when you
are an exclusivity addict. The Hundra features the same powertrain as the
regular Agera S, being powered by a twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 engine with a
whopping 1,040 HP.
