There are a
few names milling about for Ferrari’s latest supercar. You may have heard of
the F70, new F150, Enzo replacement or even Ferrari ‘Hypercar’.
Well, you’re
about to finally see them all together in Geneva, Switzerland this week.
The Ferrari
F70 will get an evolution of the F12 Berlinetta‘s 6.3-liter V12 engine, set to
produce 800 hp (596 kW), along with a HY-KERS system generating an extra 150 hp
(112 kW). With an estimated curb weight of 1,280 kg (2,822 lbs), Enzo’s
successor will reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in about three seconds, on its way to a
top speed of 230 mph (370 km/h).
Then there
are these (estimated) numbers:
499 – the
number of units to be available worldwide
1.2 – the
price of the car in millions of euro
So there
you have it until Geneva, a look at the 2013 Ferrari likely to compete with
McLaren, Bugatti and Porsche.
