Constructed by Perini Navi after a design by Ron Holland, Super Yacht Melek
was launched three years ago but still enjoys a lot of attention from
yacht enthusiasts worldwide. It is a 183.7-foot sailing yacht with a
38-foot beam. The hull and superstructure are made of aluminum, and they
were constructed in Turkey, before being sent to Viareggio, Italy, for
the project to be completed there.
The rigged yacht features two masts made of aluminum and booms
manufactured from carbon fiber, and it is able to reach a maximum speed
of 15 knots. The cruising speed is 12 knots, ensured by two CAT C32
engines. The interior is also by Perini Navi, flaunting a beautiful mix
of innovation and tradition. At the same time classic and modern, it
features luxury materials and finishes throughout, including leather,
cherry wood, walnut inlays, wenge and fir.
Capable of accommodating 10 guests and 10 crew members, Melek boasts
five luxe staterooms, one of which is a full-beam master suite.
Amenities include fast internet, Bang & Olufsen TVs, 2 Satellite
domes for TV, and an integrated Crestron system that controls the
blinds, the lights,
the crew call and more.
