The airline
industry as we all know is a highly competitive one and many companies serve as
a guide to air travel with their surveys and passenger reviews. One such is
Skytrax, an international air transport rating organization that helps airlines
and airports across the world improve and develop the highest quality
standards.
You don’t really need to be a frequent flyer to know that
the Skytrax World Airline Awards are the most coveted ones in the industry.
Based on passenger satisfaction surveys with over millions of entries, this is
the grand daddy of all airline surveys. Their 2016 survey covered more than 280
airlines and measured 41 parameters ranging from boarding procedures to seat
comfort to quality of service to bring us the top rated airlines of the year.
It comes as no surprise that Emirates has been named the
best airline in the world for 2016. This is the fourth time Emirates has won
this award in the awards history. Emirates President Tim Clark said in a
statement “We are honored to be recognized by the prestigious Skytrax awards.
Emirates has always put our customers at the heart of what we do, and we work
hard to deliver the very best experience possible to our customers at every
touchpoint, every day, all around the world. We constantly invest in our
product and services, both on the ground and in the air. We listen carefully
our customers, and then relentlessly challenge ourselves to deliver and exceed
expectations. The fact that these awards are based on the direct feedback from
passengers is gratifying and wonderful recognition for all of the hard work
that’s gone into creating the Emirates experience.”
