During last New-York Auto Show, Audi has amazed visitors
introducing its R8 Coupé limited edition: the “Audi Sport” version. With its
unparalleled design, the super car appears to be stunning, powerful and
incredibly athletic.
EXCLUSIVE “AUDI SPORT” DESIGN
Red, black and silver painted, the Audi Sport R8 Coupe will
literally take your breath away. The colours are unique as well as inserts and
tailored elements. Its specific components and quality materials has never been
so prestigious.
The brand’s legendary model is changing face with a new
design that only equals its sporty prowess. So Audi Sport R8 Coupe is a real
tribute to Audi Sport’s prices for the last seasons, and more precisely R8 LMS
ones who won 24 titles, 85 races and more than 100 podiums.
Audi Sport R8 Coupe has then been transformed to provoke
sport car lovers’ emotion with matte, glossy and silver finitions. Among the
special colours we can admire the new Mythos black and superb Ibis white.
Always speaking about appearance, the brilliant red plates and mirrors
detonates with the silver body. And for the sophisticated style, you can
appreciate the front grille, rear spoiler and diffuser, all made with black
titanium and confirming the unparalleled style of the supercar.
AUDI SPORT’S SIGNATURE
So Audi Sport has personally taken care of the Audi Sport R8
Coupe’s design and components and has cleverly equipped the supercar with 20
inches aluminium Y-shaped alloy wheels and glossy anthracite black finish with
silver bridges.
Audi Sport logo is also visible on Audi Sport R8 Coupe v10
version’s components like glossy red calipers, while the engine plus variant
also owns ceramic brake discs with anthracite calipers.
Inside, Audi Sport R8 Coupe is all so stunning. Red and
black inserts as well as Audi Sport imprint are still so visible plus a special
“1/200” inscription that specifies the unique character of this limited
version. The different elements are made with Nappa leather in both red and
black tones that perfectly matches the external appearance of the car. R8
emblem is affixed on the headrests and silver stitches are completing the
cockpit sports character until the steering wheel.
In terms of equipment, Audi Sport R8 Coupe turns on with a
simple pressure on a satellite control button, and a second one adjusts the
driving mode settings. Two other buttons allow taking control of the exhaust
and performance mode: dry, wet or snow.
Only 200 Audi Sport R8 Coupe will be produced and the first
orders have been placed in May, for the first deliveries in Summer 2017.
Concerning the price, the different versions vary from 181.900€ to 205.800€ for
the engine plus variant.
