Peninsula Suite
Square footage: 3,425 (318 sqm)
The suite was designed by Henry Leung of Chhada Siembieda
Leung Ltd in conjunction with The Peninsula Hotels’ in-house team. “I was
inspired by Paris’ reputation as the fashion capital of the world, and so based
my design concept on haute couture flair, which expressed itself throughout the
room in various ways”, explains Leung.
The hotel’s largest suite this truly luxurious residence
offers an immense reception room complete with grand piano, a vast dining room
seating up to 10, an elegant office and a spacious bedroom complete with two
large dressing rooms and two marble bathrooms, affording intimacy to each
guest.
True to the hotel’s architecture, this suite was designed
with classic Haussmann-style features: high ceilings and large windows creating
spacious rooms bathed in natural light. The soft creamy beige and golden tones
bring sensuality and refinement to a suite enhanced by luxurious, perfectly
designed decoration at the heart of a resolutely contemporary universe. Here
again, the design firms exercised their creativity using only the very best:
silks and brocades from the Prelle workshops, trimmings from Declercq
Passementiers, floor coverings crafted by Tai Ping Carpets and Baccarat
chandeliers.
