 Nowadays the tax free haven Monte Carlo is known as a playground for the bluebloods and the rich & beautiful, big yachts and the annual Formula One race held on the Circuit de Monaco. Right in the middle of the "village" is "Hotel de Paris" and its Casino. A stone's throw away (10 minutes drive by car) lies the litte village of Eze, where while having lunch at "Chateau de la Chevre d'Or" you can enjoy the wonderful view, high above the sea.

Weather in Monaco: The country of Monaco enjoys a mild, pleasant Mediterranean climate, averaging about 300 days of sunshine a year. Summer temperatures are usually 26 to 29ºC, while winter, which is mild and wet, temperatures range between 8 and 14ºC. The months of July and August are the hottest months, while spring and autumn are perfect times to travel to Monaco as temperatures are at their mildest.

Visa requirements: Holders of a valid EU and/or British Passport do not need a visa to enter Monaco.
