houses cradled in the boughs of mahogany trees. Each treehouse suite features
large windows to invite the lush forest inside. The classically elegant rooms
at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge are fitted with contemporary furnishings in neutral
colors and textures and are outfitted with overhead fans, mosquito nets, and
earthy, understated features. Rooms are spacious with comfortable lounging
areas on the decks and in the rooms.
Each treehouse has an outdoor shower, bath, and double basin.
At Lake Manyara Tree Lodge in Tanzania, the main guest areas
are intimate and cozy yet seat 20 people comfortably. There is a craft shop
featuring signature community craftwork, a pool, and a forest boma dining area
where delicious dinners are prepared. Dinners are also offered on guests’
private decks or in the sala. Breakfasts, picnic lunches, and sundowners can be
enjoyed at the lakeshore, and lunches can be taken on private decks nestled in
the mahogany forest.
