Modern House in Spain by A-cero
For this awesome project, A-cero wanted to remain faithful
to their easily recognizable style, by creating a harmonious dialogue between
curved lines and cubic forms. For all its projects, the Spanish architecture
studio frequently draws its inspiration from the creations of renowned
contemporary artists. “Art and Architecture have gone hand in hand in this and
all our projects”.
The beautiful residence is located in Somosaguas, a
residential area in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Spain and boasts 18,300 square feet of
living spaces. Its architecture is characterized by sculptural volumes and is
dominated by horizontal lines. The volumes are superimposed in layers and they
seem to naturally “grow” from the ground. The main purpose when building this
home was to create a modern residence with “risky stylized forms” without
compromising convenience and comfort.
Realizing a natural, seamless connection between the
building and the environment was also an important goal. To this end, A-cero
designed a charming Japanese-inspired garden, beautifully landscaped with large
bonsais and other ornamental plants. All the rooms on ground floor and basement
level have direct access to the garden, to ensure a special connectivity
between the inside and outside areas.
The basement is where the health and leisure areas are
located: a game room, a massage room, a gym, a wine cellar, locker rooms for
the outdoor infinity edge pool, a theater, a storage area and a service and
facilities area. On the first floor is where the main lobby can be found,
together with the open public spaces like the living room and the dining room,
the kitchen and the indoor pool. Also here the master bedroom suite and the
office are set. On the second floor there is a spacious painting studio with
plenty of natural light and beautiful views of the surroundings.

Alessandro Angelozzi Couture
Model Vanessa Hessler
There is no doubt that these gorgeous pieces can look both elegant and
sensual at the same time! This is perhaps one of the hot points that
these gowns present in comparison to other designer’s creations that we
get to see on the market.
We think that these gowns are the perfect modern alternative to those
old fashion classic A-line or ball gown dresses that used to be in trend
a few centuries ago. And we say “alternatives” because these ones here
are definitely more attractive, sexy, trendy and revealing. They are
provocative and voluptuous, but in a nice, flattering and elegant way.
Those of you who always wanted to wear something fancy, classy
and highly glamorous now have the chance to choose from the best
designs! We are looking forward to hear your opinions and thoughts
regarding these wonderful gowns hopefully you will only find positive

Mandarin Oriental Tokyo
The dramatic first impression of your arrival at Mandarin
Oriental Tokyo will remain with you throughout your stay. The extraordinary
lobby surrounded by glass of the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo, has been voted the
best in the world by first class travellers. Sped 38 floors up by private
elevator you step out and virtually into a panorama of Tokyo city. That
stunning sight is offered to guests at every opportunity; bringing a remarkable
sense of space to all rooms and suites, serving as a spectacular backdrop to
the restaurants and making a visit to the spa in the sky a journey to heaven.
At street level, key destinations are within easy reach as
the address in Nihonbashi is literally the centre of Tokyo.
With its superb location in the city’s prestigious financial
district, Mandarin Oriental Tokyo brings contemporary elegance to Nihonbashi,
the historical and cultural centre of Tokyo commerce. True to its surroundings,
the first Mandarin Oriental hotel in Japan dynamically blends the best of past
and future architectural splendor. It is graced with spacious guest rooms, an
oasis-like, fabulously well-appointed award-winning spa, and paradigm setting
bar and restaurants situated upon the uppermost floors of the soaring
Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower. In addition, stately banquet and conference facilities
reside within the Tower’s impressive atrium podium and adjacent Mitsui Main
Building, a cultural heritage property.
Overlooking the Imperial Palace garden to the West and Tokyo
Bay to the Southeast, Mandarin Oriental Tokyo's central location has direct
subway access via Mitsukoshi-mae Station on the Ginza line to all major points
of the city. In addition, Tokyo Station, the world-renowned Ginza shopping
district, and the Tokyo Stock Exchange are all within 5-10 minutes walking
distance.
Also just a stone’s throw from Mandarin Oriental Tokyo is
the celebrated ‘Bridge of Japan’ from which Nihonbashi derives its name. At one
time, this was the traditional ‘zero-mile marker’ officially designating one’s
arrival in the capital. Japan’s major financial, insurance, and securities
firms grew around this landmark, along with many traditional shops, shrines,
and galleries. Tokyo International Forum, a convention and performing arts
centre, and another landmark itself, is only a five-minute drive, while
historical edifices such as the famous Mitsukoshi Department Store and Bank of
Japan are just steps away from the hotel.
