Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius

An immaculately groomed colonial-style plantation residence, Le Telfair benefits from a charming setting and stunning pool area facing a picturesque ocean panorama. This former sugar estate of Bel Ombre is surrounded by magnificent mountains and boasts a fabulous golf course and spa.
As well as the 18-hole championship golf course, a hit with golfers the world over, this ‘Small Luxury Hotel of the World’ offers mountain biking, tennis school, gym, various watersports and the Timomo Kids Club packed with fun activities for all ages. Guests can also enrol for scuba diving lessons and explore some of the spectacular dive sites nearby while the sumptuous Seven Colours Spa, set in tropical gardens, is a must for tranquillity seekers. As if this was not enough, the recently added “lifestyle rendezvous” C Beach Club, shared with Heritage Awali, has two restaurants, lounge bar, boat club and teens club, all stylishly designed with guest relaxation in mind.
Colonially-inspired villas, each with six or eight rooms and a private butler, can be divided as required. Superior options have spectacular ocean views with some situated directly on the beach.
Four superb restaurants include the unique experience of Annabella’s, where guests can interact with the Chef in a traditional open kitchen, and Gin’Ja, built on white sand at the edge of the lagoon, serving authentic and contemporary Pan Asian cuisine.
