Six-Senses Yao Noi Resort-Thailand

We’ve currently taken some time to present Thailand to the public, because a lot of tourists should notice the beauty and uniqueness of this particular country. Thus, we’re now presenting the Six Senses Yao Noi Resort, another pure representation of Thai style.

Located on the beautiful Island of Yao Noi, this resort is set pretty close to the Phuket airport, a 1-hour boat-ride service fully arranged by the hotel. It’s also set on the Phang Nga Bay, whose shores are guarded by huge limestone walls that seem to come out from the Andaman Sea.

The tranquility of this place is highlighted b the 56 accommodations that assure guests with a superb atmosphere. They are represented by stand-alone buildings gorgeously arose through stilts from the ground, while the huge amount of fresh air and light coming inside them is paradoxically breathtaking. Plus, each structure has its own infinity pool, a great way to exercise and spend some precious time.

There’s a whole range of activities that one can attempt to do here, associated with a great deal of relaxation means. You may take cooking classes, being able to find out the secrets behind the Thai-specific culinary domain, you may play golf at the nearby course, reachable with a short helicopter-trip and the last but not the least is the spa, with its gorgeous natural ambiance, ready to pamper you with authentic Thai massage styles, deep tissue stimulating and stretching, as well as a session of relaxing skin treatments.

SRT Viper 2013 reviled

We’ve waited a long time for the 2013 SRT Viper‘s arrival, one that almost never came because of Chrysler filing for bankruptcy  in 2009. The subsequent purchase by Fiat, the parent company of rival automaker Ferrari, helped turn it all around though and we finally have a new Viper after an extended period of uncertainty. Finally, without further adieu, here it is, America’s venomous supercar, but this time it has shed its Dodge skin in favor of the more form-fitting SRT nameplate.
Highlights for the 2013 SRT Viper include a much a redesigned exterior and better interior that includes a navigation system and leather seats. But if you’re reading this, chances are you’re more interested in what’s under the hood: an 8.4-liter V-10 engine with a whopping 640 horsepower and 600 lb.-ft. of torque. The former number is 2 horsepower greater than the world-beating 2012 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, and the latter number is the highest rating for a non-supercharged or turbocharged engine in the entire world. SRT isn’t messing around with this one. The new 8.4-liter V-10 has been hooked to a six-speed manual transmission that promises to escort as many ponies to pavement as possible.
Besides a new engine and interior, the 2013 SRT Viper welcomes the sports car’s first-time use of stability control, something it has never carried onboard in the Viper’s 20 years of existence. However, you can shut it off entirely, and the icon on the dash shows a flaming burnout when you do. No, really.

The 2013 SRT Viper will be offered in two variations, the SRT Viper and SRT Viper GTS, with both being built at Chrysler’s Conner Avenue assembly facility in Detroit. The latest Viper is the most technologically advanced one to date, with features like a two-mode active suspension that allows the snake to open it up when possible while still giving the driver the utmost control of the car.
For more information about the 2013 SRT Viper or any other new vehicle debut at the 2012 New York International Auto Show.

Top 20 restaurants in the world ranked by Elite Traveler

We’ve written about hotels, cars, products and it’s now time to look at the best places to eat in the entire world right now, as the Elite Traveler magazine has put together a list with the top 20 restaurants in the world in 2012. The current list is topped by the Alinea, in Chicago, USA.

It has thus been given the award “the best restaurant in the world” – this was possible due to the emotional approach towards dining, decked with extreme modernism. Alinea is closely followed from behind by The Fat Duck, British chef Heston Blumenthal’s creation. Located in Bray, it has “pushed the boundaries of British gastronomy.” The style assumed by this restaurant packs a total reinvention of the traditional British classic meals, heightening the customers’ senses.

The last on the podium is Thomas Keller’s New York Restaurant Per Se, a place where luxury can be eaten in the main sense of the word. It is closely knit to The French Laundry in Yountville, California, currently occupying the 14th position on our list. Thomas Keller is the only chef to boast two different restaurants on the list.

This list also highlights Restaurant magazine’s World’s 50 Best Restaurants list, beautifully contrasting to it. Furthermore, the list is based on the opinions of readers and wealthy individuals.

Walk-in-Closets the Perfect Solution for an Easy Life

Almost every woman in the world loves two things: chocolate and shoes. The difference between the two is the fact that you need more space for all the shoes. But don’t worry, a solution was found for this problem: the walk-in-closets. They offer enough room for your clothes, jewels, purses and shoes.

Walk-in-closets have different designs according to the needs of the owner. Some have a skylight to offer the room more natural sunlight, exceptional dark furniture to enhance the idea of luxury or floor-to-ceiling storage. No matter how long or narrow, what color it is, a walk-in-closet is the luxurious solution for cramped closets and for endless rummaging through piles of clothes and shoes.
