Main hall

Staying at the ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi, Sweeden can be an adventure you’ll want to share with everyone you know. This “hotel” which is actually built from scratch every winter season is an ever-changing and ever-evolving work of art. Its inspiration comes from the natural beauty of the Swedish Lapland. If you’ve ever wanted to see the Northern Lights, there’s no better place to go.

The latest iteration of the ICEHOTEL, which is called ICEHOTEL #22, contains 1 Deluxe suite, 16 Art suites, 20 ice rooms, 8 snow rooms and 2 group rooms. There are 47 rooms in total during the winter season of 2011/2012.
his year’s artists come from 15 countries, among others: Argentina, Estonia, Spain, Italy, Norway and The Netherlands. They arrived in Jukkasjärvi in two turns/teams. The first team built from 6th until 24th November and the second team between 20th November until 8th December. Thousands of guests flood in every year to sleep in rooms made of ice and snow, share wedding vows in the Ice church and enjoy many cold drinks in the ABSOLUT ICEBAR.

Prices start at about $500 for a basic 3-bed snowroom and go up to several thousand a night for one of the designer suites.
