PAGANI HUAYRA BC: THE COUPÉ SUPERCAR REVEALED FOR THE FIRST
TIME
Pagani surprises again with its brand new model: the Pagani
Huayra BC. BC stands for Benny Caiola, a true collector that loved Pagani’s
cars and their very first buyer. The Italian brand successes in revisiting the
Huayra Coupé, with this 130 kg lightweight version that can achieve remarkable
performances.
A TOTAL MAKEOVER, MORE AGGRESSIVE
Pagani Huayra BC has nothing in common with the original
model, except for the name. Indeed, everything has been rebuilt and improved to
achieve more aggressive and impressive performances. The aim was to create a
track oriented supercar with undeniable qualities.
Alike its sisters, Pagani Huayra BC introduces hybrid
propulsion, a combination of combustion engine and electric motor. Concerning
the engine, the Pagani Huayra BC is totally spoiled. The car possesses a V12
Bi-Turbo engine developed by Mercedes AMG, able to unleash more than 750 hp.
Its sport exhaust is lighter and the materials used for its components as
titanium bring the car an absolutely remarkable sound, more intense, more
exciting, or the first sensation that we are looking for while buying this type
of powerful car.
A new 7-speed Automated Manual Transmission was specially
designed for Pagani Huayra BC. The gearbox, imagined by XTrac has a new
hydraulic system and carbon fibre synchronizers that considerably improve
gearshift times. Then the supercar is perfect for any kind of roads, in low
grip situations or on the track, with more stability. And to improve its sporty
character, a tripod axle drive shafts has been settled, inspired by Le Mans
Racing, that guarantees unparalleled efficiency in terms of transference of
power.
NEW COMPONENTS ADAPTED TO AN IMPRESSIVE POWER
With such power potential, Pagani Huayra BC has adapted each
of its components to this force. Then its new suspension system is the lightest
and most effective ever applied to a road going vehicle. Designed again to
lightweight the car and increase its responsiveness and driveability. Add to
this a new Carbon-Ceramic breaking system able to face such a increased
performance.
A new ESP system allows the Pagani Huayra BC’s driver to
choose between three driving modes such as the former “Comfort” and “Sport”
modes, but with a new “track” mode that will optimize the car’s prowess on
track. A very useful mode, assisting even the most experienced drivers.
New aerodynamic element has been added, more resistant, to
bring the Pagani Huayra BC concept to extremes, whilst disturbing the
distinctive design of Pagani.
Finally, Pagani Huayra BC’s interior is minimalist, always
with weight saving in mind. The deep black Alcantara cockpit with red leather
finishes has also been entirely redesigned.
