Lamborghini is far from reaching its limits in terms of progress and proves it with new Lamborghini Huracan Performante.

Thanks to new technologies, enhanced aerodynamics and motorisation the supercar is now the only production vehicle to break all records on a circuit.

ROAD AND CIRCUIT PERFORMANCES

Indeed, Lamborghini Huracan Performante has addressed Nürburgring mythical circuit where it has set a new production car lap record of 6:52,01mn. This proves us its effectiveness on circuit, even if the supercar has also been created for all types of road.

Such performances are possible thanks to a weight loss of 40kg and Lamborghini Huracan Performante’s improvements. First consists in a new aluminium and carbon frame, with new composite elements, specially created by Lamborghini in a composite material using chopped carbon fibre in a resin. Then this material has been used for the new front and rear spoilers, the engine bonnet, rear bumper and diffuser, and that’s how the car benefits from a consequent weight gain.

Then, Lamborghini Huracan Performante is equipped with Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA) system, specially developed for this model in order to provide an effective variation of aero load. This system operates on all vehicle elements such as the design, the performances and weight. When ALA is off, the driver can notice a better downforce for high-speed cornering as well as more effective brake conditions. But when this one is on, the driver can benefit from the impressive speed of its vehicle and then release the horses!

DESIGN FROM ALL UNIVERSES

If Lamborghini Heritage principally inspires Lamborghini Huracan Performante, it also takes its inspiration in racecars as well as performing motorcycles for the frame and exhaust. Each part of the car symbolizes the vehicle’s enhancements and constitutes a true work of art.

Pure lines as Super Trofeo racecars and exposed rear parts of the frames like powerful motorcycles are few examples of Lamborghini Huracan Performante inspirations. The whole body is built with composite elements, in glossy or mat finish, all of them giving birth to a fierce and hypnotic beast, like a snake. A new orange colour has specially been imagined for the car called Arancio Anthaeus.

Inside, you can find more composite elements like door handles, 7-speed gearshift or dashboard. Concerning transmission, the driver can choose between three modes: Strada, Sport and Corsa. The last one is only reserved for speed lovers who want to push their Lamborghini Huracan Performante on the best circuits!

Finally, Lamborghini Huracan Performante is equipped with the most powerful Lamborghini V10 at that day. It can achieve 0 to 100mkm/h in only 2.9 seconds and 0 to 200 km/h in only 8.9 seconds, thanks to 640hp.
