Moreno Cedroni is a star in Italy, where his new-wave fish restaurants
have excited critics. Now he’s in charge of the restaurant at the
Baglioni, where we loved the pretty plates of swordfish carpaccio and
veal shank decorated with edible flowers, as well as the sweet Apulian
waiter who accompanied each dish with ‘Please, you try!’ However,
portions were skimpy and the vast, open-plan room can feel a bit
windswept
The service is slick and the attentive staff make the luxury London
restaurant a great place to head for lunch or a quiet romantic dinner,
the Baglioni Hotel is situated in the heart of London, opposite Hyde
Park with charming views of Kensington Gardens and Palace.
